This policy explains what PyBox does - and, just as importantly, what it doesn't - with your data. In short: your code and your projects are yours, and they stay on your device.
PyBox is a local, offline-capable Python IDE. It is built so your work stays yours.
When you write code, run a script, create a project, or use any of PyBox's editing and execution features, all of that processing happens directly on your device. PyBox does not upload your source files, project folders, console output, or any content you create to any server, cloud service, or third party.

Your projects and files are stored in a dedicated PyBox folder inside your device's shared Device Storage (not inside the app's private, sandboxed data directory). This is a deliberate choice so that your work is easy to find, back up, or move using any file manager.
If you want to permanently delete your projects, you can do so manually using a file manager app by navigating to the PyBox folder in your device storage and removing the files or folder yourself.
While your code and projects never leave your device, PyBox does use a small set of third-party SDKs for app stability, basic usage analytics, optional notifications, and ads. These services process limited technical data separately from - and never including - your code or project content.

PyBox may request a small number of device permissions, each used only for on-device functionality.
PyBox does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because PyBox does not require an account or collect personal profile data to function, use of the core app carries minimal privacy risk for younger users; however, ads served via Google AdMob are subject to Google's own policies and applicable regulations regarding children's advertising.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the app or applicable law. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Significant changes, especially any that would involve your code or projects leaving your device, will be communicated more prominently, such as via an in-app notice.
